Cinema doesn’t need to have a f***ing message. It needs to have a heart and electricity
World class acting and high quality cinematography make this black and white film feel like an instant classic. Zendaya was iconic in what might be her best performance yet, and her chemistry with co-star John David Washington is undeniable. In the beginning, the conflict is mostly a mystery. As the film unravels, pieces of information are revealed, shedding more light onto the couple’s relationship. There are layers, and they’re beautiful. This is a great movie and I personally really enjoyed it. I was shocked to learn that they didn’t receive any Oscar nominations. It’s alright though, I see you Zendaya ❤️
