The only negative about this movie is that it was shot in 4:3. Snyder’s cut added much needed context and depth to Joss Whedon’s version, with way better CGI, extra characters, and added story lines. As per usual from Zack Snyder, this film is visually stunning. The coloring, lighting and overall aesthetic of the film are virtually unmatched to date. Even with 4 hours of content, there are no dull moments. Every second of the film is essential to its overall impact.
The added content to this film was almost overwhelming. Darkseid made his live action debut and The Knightmare scenario was left wide open, surely pleasing DC fans across the globe.
A lot of people are probably tired of hearing it, but The SnyderVerse needs to be restored. I truly believe this is the most exciting cinematic universe of all time. Don’t just watch this film, experience it in all its glory.
