A predictable indie thriller with plenty of plot holes and a decent cast. I like Casey Affleck, but this is just another typical mopey role for him. It’s starting to feel like he has very little range. I guess we’ll find out soon considering he’s in at least 3 movies this year. Megan Monaghan never really fails in the supporting actress role, even with a subpar script like this one. I was starting to feel like this movie might surprise me in a good way, but the antagonist was barely threatening for most of the movie, which made for a lot of dull moments. Considering all of the beautiful scenery, I would have liked to see a more visual approach to the movie. Although the few scenery shots were done well. There’s not a lot to miss here. Skip it.
