A well thought out mini series with never ending excitement and an incredibly creative plot. Yes, there is some obvious influence from films like Battle Royale and Escape Room, but there’s enough nuance to separate this series from other works. The set and costume design were on point, and really helped create the unusual setting. I don’t watch a lot of Korean films, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from the cinematography, but I must say I was more than impressed. This series is as visually captivating as it is narratively. The story was so well thought out, as it connects so many moving parts in a very satisfying manner.
I was under the impression that was a limited series, but after the gigantic buzz that it created, I would not be surprised to see a season 2. Which means I maybe shouldn’t have reviews this, because I typically only review limited series and full length films.
